Language of Keywords: English; Hungarian Abstract: The aim of this study is to characterize the cinematic parameters of the shoulder joint following hemiarthroplasty, as well as to learn if there is a correlation between the outcome of the surgery and the biomechanical parameters. Six patients were evaluated following hemiarthroplasty 4 males, 2 females ; the indication of surgery wassevere primary osteoarthrosis.

The kinematic parameters evaluated: the extent of the elevation of the humerus in the scapular plane, change of the scapulothoracal ST and glenohumeral GH angle, GH and ST angle in humeral elevation to 75 degrees, the GH and ST rhythm, and changes in the relative distances of the rotation centers of the scapula and the humerus.
